Are you looking for a new job? The SCPD has an opening for Evidence Recovery Tow Operator!

Responsibilities include transporting vehicles and evidence as needed by the department. Vehicles may have been involved in crashes, contain or constitute evidence, may be seized pursuant to federal, state or local law, or may otherwise be towed for law enforcement purposes. Additional responsibilities include vehicle maintenance and record maintenance.

The position is full-time with a starting salary of $45,525 plus night shift or holiday pay, when applicable. The position schedule includes three tours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and enrollment in the New York State Retirement System.

Candidates must be a high school graduate or possess a GED as well as a Commercial Drivers License with air brake and tow truck endorsements.
